Fake rental listings are becoming harder to spot since it’s increasingly easy to copy listing photos and get property info from online sources. Be especially wary when prices feel rare and someone’s pushing you to move quickly.

Before sending money, slow down and verify: tour the property in person, search the address, confirm who owns or manages it, and be wary of anyone asking for payment through apps before you’ve seen the home.
