A local REALTOR® received a call from someone claiming to be from PG&E that one of their listings will have its power shut off unless a payment of $300 is immediately submitted. The seller was instructed to make the payment of $300 at a local bitcoin kiosk.
After making the payment, the seller realized it was a scam.
